Helivision Sport is very attentive to safety precautions and responsive medical care and rescue efforts.

Due diligence is carried out in advance of every excursion to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The guiding staff is never out of radio contact with our helicopter which, in turn, is on a constant monitoring system with base operations. Helivision Sport is also integrated with the Sea to Sky rescue agencies which include other helicopter operators, Squamish Search and Rescue, and locale search and rescue agencies which are within a radio call from any potential situation.

Helivision Sport will provide each person with a safety orientation regarding backcountry travel and avalanche awareness. Avalanche transceivers will also be provided to each individual.

Guides

The guiding staffs for Helivision are all graduates of associations that meet the requirements of The British Columbia Helicopter and Snowcat Skiing Operators Association, (BCHSSOA), The Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, (ACMG), The Canadian Ski Guides Association, (CSGA), and The United International Association of Guides of the Mountains, (UIAGM).

Our guiding staff is continuously upgrading their skills with specialty training in avalanche forecasting, terrain evaluation, rescue and emergency techniques as well as aspects of mountaineering.
