Heli-Skiing & Heli-Boarding

Our mountains provide the ultimate alpine experience, from BC’s beautiful glaciers to its deep powder tree skiing. The terrain accommodates a wide variety of skill levels. Helivision Sport’s packages appeal to the first time powder skier to the most advanced skiers and snowboarders Your advanced booking, allows us to group you according to your ability and expectations.

Whether you ski or snowboard, we have the equipment at hand to allow you to be comfortable and to enjoy your day in the mountains. The Fat Boy powder skis have revolutionized heli-skiing and have made it a lot easier for first timers as well as seasoned powder enthusiasts. Do not hesitate to discuss with our staff your equipment needs. We have a full range of skis and snowboards within our rental agencies, to meet your requirements.

We certainly have no objection if you prefer to bring your own powder skis. Ski brakes are mandatory and ski straps are not allowed for safety reasons. We advise you to bring your own ski boots for your personal comfort.

Heli-Fishing

The Squamish area provides unique year-round fishing opportunities. The river and lake systems host resident populations of Trout and Dollyvarden Char, along with our seasonal runs of Salmon and Steelhead. Our winter fishing takes place in the warmer, lower elevations of the Squamish River valleys and Jervis and Sechelt Inlets. If you desire to incorporate fishing into your ski vacation in our Sea to Sky corridor we would be more than happy to accommodate you and provide professional guide service and tips.

We provide transportation to and from your location in Whistler or Vancouver. If needed, we will supply all gear and tackle. A hearty lunch is provided on full day trips.

Heli – Hiking:

Helivision has access to a variety of different hikes in the Squamish area. The helicopter can drop you and your group with a guide on Skypilot above The Chief. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Howe Sound.

The Echo Lake area offers a variety of activities to please everyone in the group, from rock climbing to leisurely hikes through alpine meadows to rugged hikes above tree line. Helivision Sport will coordinate hikes according to individual needs and requests.

Heli-Picnics

Spend a special day with someone you care about. Either go for our regular picnics on the Glacier above the Howe Sound, or enjoy a romantic picnic where you are left on your own for 4 hours.

Heli-Biking

Heli Mountain biking is quickly becoming one of the most popular backcountry adventure sport activities. Helivision Sport is currently developing terrain that would offer spectacular mountain views. Professionally guided, your day includes a hearty lunch and refreshing beverages. A reminder, be sure to call in advance to reserve your seat for the coming spring.

River Rafting and Eagle Watching:

After a day of skiing, why not take time to float the Squamish, Chekamus and Elaho rivers and do some eagle watching. In addition to a healthy population of bald eagles, these river banks have an abundance of wildlife including coyotes, deer, and the occasional black bear.

You can also gaze at the spectacular peaks of Mount Garibaldi and the stunning Tantalus Range. Brackendales’s local rafting company, (Elaho Adventure Tours), offers exciting white water rafting and scenic float trips.

Photo Seminars:

Capture the beauty of the scenic Sea to Sky corridor and its magnificent glaciers, high mountain peaks, lush meadows, and fast-flowing rivers. Gather snap-shots of the local culture, wildlife and vegetation. Collect images of your mountain experience. Our local photographer will share his passion of photography with you and teach you how to take spectacular photos of glaciers. Each workshop will be customized.

Heli – Art:

Nature’s canvas is ready for you. Refine your skills at an Art Seminar, then, allow the landscape of the Sea to Sky corridor to inspire you. You can enjoy access to remote areas, and immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of nature, a setting where your talents can flow to produce your masterpiece. Art Seminars are custom tailored to launch you into a realm of imagination and creativity, Helivision Sport will also, at the request of the client, bring in a specific artist of your choice.

Heli-Weddings

Celebrate your special moment together on one of our Glaciers or above Echo Lake with spectacular views of Garibaldi Mountain, the Howe Sound and the Southern Pacific Costal Range. Helivision has a variety of terrain to fly to. Helivision will work with you on all aspects of your wedding to make it the day it's supposed to be.
